Delhi University School of Open learning will soon initiate the admission process for UG courses on 03 June 2026 and PG/MBA courses on 03 June 2026. The university offers popular courses like BA, BCom, BBA, MBA, MA, and MCom. The admission fee for all courses is between INR 7,000 to INR 52,570 per semester. DU SOL UG Admission 2026

SOL offers undergraduate courses in commerce, business management, arts, and the information science stream. The popular courses of the university are BA (Hons, Economics, Political Science, and English, BCom & BCom Hons, BBA (FIA), and BMS. The minimum requirement for an undergraduate degree is a 10+2 education from a recognized board. These courses have fees ranging from Rs 8,870 to Rs 22,520 per annum, depending on the course. The selections are solely based on performance in the 10+2 board exams.

DU SOL BA Admission 2026

Delhi University School of Open Learning is offering a BA program in various specializations for the 2026-27 academic session. Applicants who hold a 10+2 certification can pursue a BA program at DU SOL. Admission to the BA program is given based on direct and merit list (Both).

The university grants direct admission to all specializations of ODL BA except these two: Psychology and Computer Applications. There are 2 or 3 merit lists for admission to the mentioned electives.

SOL BLIS Admission

Delhi University SOL offers admission to 1 one-year Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) degree. Although it is an undergraduate course, students are required to pass graduation with min 47% marks to get admission in this course. The selection is also merit-based, as seats are limited. This course is ideal for students looking to make as Librarians, Information Managers, Archivists or Govt jobs.

DU SOL BCom Admission

SOL DU provides a 3 & and 4-year duration BCom program and a BCom Hons degree at the undergraduate level. The admission course consists of 6/8 semesters following the NEP with subjects such as Accounting, HR, Advertising, Marketing, etc. Students can enroll in this course after passing their 12th board exams in the commerce subject. The min marks required for UR/ST/ST/PwBD is 45% marks (40.5% for OBC candidates). The total fee for this course is between Rs 26,610 to Rs 28,110. The selection process is first cum first serve basis (no entrance test/Merit List/Cut off required). However, students need to fulfill the eligibility criteria for this course.

SOL BBA FIA Admission 

Bachelor of Business Administration is an undergraduate degree in ODL. Delhi University offers this course with multiple exit options with the help of the School of open learning. It is a specialised course in financial investment analysis, and through this course, you will develop analytical skills in finance.

It is primarily a 3-year degree. If students do this degree for 4 years, they will get a PG degree in the end as per the NEP guidelines. The eligibility criteria for this programme are a 10+2 level of education with 45% marks from a recognised board. The total fee for this course is approximately 39,040/- rupees for Indian students. There is no entrance examination for admissions to SOL. The admission process is on a direct basis, and there is no seat limit as well.

SOL BMS Admission

Bachelor of Management Studies is a 3 to 4-year degree programme. This course offers specialisations in multiple fields to the students. School Of Open Learning provides a solid foundation in business management for the first two years and in the third year, students will have a choice to select the course in which they want to do specialisation i.e., finance, marketing, human resource management and global business environment.

It is a 3-year degree and is divided into 6 to 8 semesters. This course is offered to students who have completed their 10+2 qualification with 45% aggregate from a recognised university. The total fee for the full programme is INR 39,040 for only Indian students. SOL took BMS admission on a direct basis, and there is no entrance exam for it.

DU SOL PG Admission 2026

School of Open Learning, Delhi, will soon begin the online registrations for various postgraduate admission to courses like MA, MCom, MBA, and MLIS with a variety of subjects like Hons, Pol Science, English, and more. Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant field to be eligible for DU SOL Admission. These courses have an average duration of 1 to 2 years with fee ranges between Rs 9,070 to Rs 1,05,140 annually. DU SOL conducts master’s degree admission through the CUET PG entrance scores.

Note: If seats are not filled with CUET PG scores, then students who filled the application will get admission based on graduation marks only.

DU SOL MBA Admission 2026

School of Open Learning, Delhi University, also offers admission to a 2-year Master of Business Administration (MBA) course through merit scores. DU SOL MBA Admission form will open in the first week of June 2026. The applicants are required to acquire a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks to become eligible for admission.

DU SOL provides an MBA program in various areas such as Marketing, Finance, OB & HRM, Operations Management & Decision Science, and Strategy. DU SOL MA Admission 2026

Delhi University School of Open Learning offers an MA program in various disciplines, such as Hindi, English, Economics, History, Geography, etc, for the 2026-27 academic session. The applicants need to visit the official website-sol.du.ac.in, to apply for admission. SOL DU MCom Admission 

Master of Commerce is a 2-year course in correspondence through DU SOL. In this course, students will get to know about finance, accounting, and banking at an advanced level. It is a specialised postgraduate degree, and after completing this course, students can work in different sectors like marketing, finance, accounting, and business management.

SOL MCom is a semester-based degree, and it has 4 semesters. The duration of this course is 2 years minimum, and it can be extended to 4 years. The minimum eligibility criteria for this course in ODL mode are having a BCom (Hons.) or its equivalent degree from a recognised university. The unreserved category needed 50% marks, and the reserved category needed 45% marks in graduation. The fee for Indian students is Rs 18740.

SOL MLIS Admission 

MLIS is a PG degree, and it is offered in a distance education mode of learning by DU SOL. Candidates have a chance to excel the library science as a subject. This course will involve courses such as information systems and programmes, information literacy applications in LIS, public library and information systems and print and electronic sources, and literature in the humanities etc.

This course is provided for the duration of 1 years in a semester system. Master of Library and Information Science is an advanced postgraduate degree. It has 2 semesters with core and elective subjects. This course is offered to students who have a BLISc degree from a recognised university.  45% (for OBC/EWS/Other categories) and 50% (general category) marks are the minimum aggregate eligibility criteria for this course. SOL MLIS course fee is approximately INR 11220 for the full course.

SOL DU UG Eligibility Criteria

• Students need to pass 10+2 education from a reputed board with a minimum of 45% marks for UR/EWS and 40.5% for ST/SC/PwBD.

Delhi University SOL considers Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores for PG admission. It is a mandatory national exam conducted by the NTA. It’s an MCQ-based test that contains 75 questions and takes 90 minutes. It is an online test based on computers, and students need to take it from the nearby official exam center.
