Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University is the first veterinary University of India was founded on 20 September 1989. TANUVAS was recognized by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in 1999. - PhD in Veterinary Sciences: The applicants must have completed an MVSc degree in a relevant discipline with at least 65% marks.
