Loyola College was founded in July 1925  by the Society of Jesus. The University has been recognized by NAAC and accredited with an A++ grade. Loyal College is an autonomous college affiliated with the University of Madras. It offers various courses, including 19 UG and 19 PG (Arts, commerce, and Science) and 12 Special Institutes offering numerous courses to more than 1200 students. At present, Loyola College has 117 teaching staff members and 182 non-teaching staff in service.

Loyola College PG Admission will start on 01 May 2025 for shift-1, and the application form will be published online on the official web portal.
