YCMOU MBA Admission 2026-27

Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University admission is ongoing for the Master of Business Administration 2026-27 academic year. The university offers this course under 5 specializations: Marketing, HR, Finance, Agriculture Management, and study medium is English only. Eligibility for this course requires students to have completed their bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Total fees for the YCMOU MBA course is INR 39016/-.

The duration of this course is 2 years, and the maximum time limit to complete this course is 4 years. YCMOU PhD Admission 2026-27

YCMOU offers doctoral-level degree programs across disciplines such as Science and Technology, Agriculture, Management,  Arts, and Humanities. It is a 3-year-long research degree that allows students to do research work in their chosen department. The tuition fee for YCMOU PhD courses is about Rs 23000 – 55000 per year.

Students must hold a master’s degree or MPhil in the relevant discipline. The selection will be based on performance in the YCMOU Research Entrance Test (RET), followed by an interview. One who appeared in the UGC NET/JRF exams will be exempt from the entrance exam.

Generally, the university conducts the Doctor of Philosophy admission process in the month, and the process is completed by the end. For the year 2026-27, the YCMOU PhD admission process is expected to start in September 2026. The process will continue from registration to the entrance test, personal interview, and the selected students list, and the last date of admission will be October 2026.

YCMOU Eligibility Criteria 2026

• Students must pass their Senior Secondary (10+2) exams with relevant subjects from a recognized Indian board.
• The min in the 12th class must be around 50% for general students and 45% for reserved category students.

For PG Courses Admission:

• A UG degree with relevant subjects or streams from a reputed university is mandatory.
• One must have secured 40-50% of their bachelor’s degree to be eligible for PG courses.

For PhD Courses Admission:

• Interested applicants must have an MPhil or Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) from a valid university.
• Additionally, candidates must have relevant subjects in PG respective to the department in which they want to pursue their PhD.

YCMOU Entrance Exams 2026

• YCMOU RET (PhD Programs): It is the mandatory entrance test for students who want PhD admission at YCMOU. However, there are exemptions for students who have cleared the national-level research entrance tests.
• MBA CET: YCMOU will conduct the necessary MBA CET entrance test in online mode. The performance of applicants in this test will determine their admission.
• BCA/MCA CET: The university has CET for UG and PG computer application programs in Online mode via MCQ-based questions.
• BEd CET: Students are required to take the mandatory YCMOU BEd entrance exam.
• Agricultural Entrance Test: This test is conducted by the university for admission to the MSc Agriculture course.
